Different Ways to Celebrate Easter at Home This year

Easter this year will undoubtedly be unlike any Easter we have experienced before.  But to help you navigate this special time while in social isolation, the Officer Fields team have put together different ways to celebrate Easter this year at the comfort of your home. Take a read at the many fun things you and your family can do during the Easter long weekend:

For the artsy:

1. Adult colouring books

Adult colouring books are known to help alleviate stress and at the same time improve motor skills and focus. Have a look at your bookshelf to see if there is still one that you might have purchased from 2015 when it was booming. Or you can also download these printables for FREE. All you need is some colouring pencils, which you can borrow from your little ones.

2. Easy DIYs

There is a bunch of art projects that can guarantee you to be occupied throughout the entire long weekend, such as repainting those walls you have always wanted to or print and install new paintings. Kidsactivitiesblog.com have a variety of kid’s activities that don’t require a lot of preparation.

For the couch potatoes:

1. Easter themed movies

“Up” and “Toy Story” are an all-time favorite, especially if you have children. Disney Plus Australia is currently offering a 7-day FREE trial which provides unlimited entertainment from Disney classics to National Geographic explorations for you and your family to enjoy.

2. Sweet binging

Our local favourite and only a 3-minute drive from Officer Fields, Chelle’s Soulfoods are still taking online orders. Their latest raw dessert line up is a must try! Order their chocolate mint or lemon tart, which are all made with the freshest and healthiest ingredients. Smaller treats and yummy smoothie bowls are also available. Definitely a great way to #supportlocalbusiness

For the foodies and decorators:

1. Try new recipes

While it’s challenging not being able to indulge in our usual foodie activities, try your hand at some new recipes. Taste.com.au have an abundance of recipes to try, whether it’s sweet or savory, easy or difficult- they have it all.

2. Home decor

If you are an avid shopper and in the mood for an Easter-themed shopping spree head to www.etsy.com.au. They have a dedicated Easter market section with plenty of hand-made listings such as paintings and decorations. Perfect to jazz up your home!

If you have been thinking of stepping into the property market, use this long weekend to do your research. Officer Fields is located close to schools, shopping centres, transport and health centres. We offer a range of land sizes as well as house and land packages. Our team are available via private appointment or live chat to answer all your questions about our growing community.

We can provide you with a wealth of knowledge about Officer Fields, the market, the land purchase and building process. So, when you are ready to buy, we want you to buy with confidence.

For those who are ready to purchase, we’d like to introduce the Officer Fields Price Promise.
